Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-30-2026

End Date: 08-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in independently for cranial procedures and provide expert support during neuro-trauma cases
Assist with total joint replacements and orthopedic trauma surgeries using the latest robotic technology
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each case
Collaborate with surgeons and the care team to maintain the highest standards of patient safety
Handle a diverse caseload including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neurosurgery procedures

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred along with BLS certification
Proven experience scrubbing orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures
Ability to independently perform cranial procedures and take neuro-trauma call
Comfortable working in a fast-paced Level II trauma environment
Strong work ethic and willingness to speak up for patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

Expert scrubbing skills in orthopedic trauma and total joint replacements
Independent cranial procedure experience
Familiarity with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
General OR experience across multiple specialties
