Certified Nursing Assistant – UHC Staffing

Location: Christiana, PA

Start Date: 04-02-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (schedule set by facility based on patient needs)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Support nursing staff by taking vital signs, documenting observations, and reporting changes
Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and mobility needs
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control policies
Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Help create a positive experience for residents through attentive, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (PA certification preferred)
Ability to pass required background check and facility screenings
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused with strong interpersonal skills
Previous experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing and personal care techniques
Understanding of infection control and patient safety practices
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
