Location: Columbus, GA

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with the facility (12.5-hour shift length provided, non-guaranteed schedule)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in line with facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs and clinical observations
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records and charting
- Participate in safety and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — active and in good standing
- Clinical experience in an acute care or similar setting preferred
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to the facility schedule
Education
- LPN/LVN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and basic nursing care skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
- Comfortable using electronic medical record systems for charting
- Good clinical judgment, prioritization, and teamwork skills
