Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform routine assessments and report changes in patient condition to the team
- Document care and maintain clear, timely charting in the medical record
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to coordinate excellent care
- Support patient comfort, dignity and independence through respectful interactions
- Participate in unit meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in good standing (appropriate state licensure required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused approach to care
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
- Clinical documentation and charting accuracy
- Infection control and standard safety practices
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and team members
