Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (assignment begins April 28, 2026)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents—assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nurse in charge
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Observe and document resident behavior, mood, and physical condition in a clear, timely manner
- Promote resident dignity and independence while delivering person-centered care
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure continuity of care and smooth shift handoffs
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing helpful but new grads welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental patient care skills and ADL assistance
- Comfort taking and documenting vital signs and basic clinical observations
- Infection control and proper use of PPE
- Basic charting and clear documentation practices
- Compassionate resident engagement and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nursing staff
