Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care
• Monitor and record vital signs, recognizing changes and escalating concerns
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans
• Assist with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Maintain clear, timely charting and follow facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — active and in good standing
• Eligibility or current licensure to practice in Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any facility-required clearances
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vitals
• Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
• Comfortable working independently on per-diem assignments and as part of a team
• Good time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting
• Professional bedside manner and strong communication with patients and families
