Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered direct care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Document care activities accurately and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with the care team to ensure patients receive safe, coordinated care
Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state requirements apply)
Basic patient care experience preferred; enthusiasm and strong bedside manner required
Ability to follow care plans, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain if required by facility
Reliable, punctual, and able to handle physically active shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing assistant skills and safe patient handling practices
Strong observational skills and the ability to recognize changes in patient status
Good communication and teamwork skills with an emphasis on empathy
Basic charting and documentation accuracy
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
