Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assess and document patient status, vital signs, and progress notes
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation
Support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to facility policies

Qualifications

Valid LPN license in Georgia (required)
Graduated from an accredited Practical Nursing/LPN program
Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
Ability and willingness to work 12.5-hour shifts
Clear background check and required immunizations per facility policy
Strong communication, observation, and patient advocacy skills

Education

Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing/LPN program and state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic IV/IM experience as applicable
Vital sign monitoring, patient assessment, and documentation
Wound care and basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Time management and priority-setting in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork, professional communication, and patient-centered care
