Surgical Technologist - Iowa

Location: Decorah, Iowa

Start Date: 06-22-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with on-call rotation (approximately 1 night per every 2 week pay period) and every 5th to 6th weekend, plus holiday call rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assisting surgeons and medical teams during surgical procedures
Preparing and maintaining surgical equipment and supplies
Maintaining a sterile and organized operating room environment

Qualifications

1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
Surgical Technologist Certification (preferred)
State of Iowa Mandatory reporter training
American Heart Association BLS required

Education

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
