Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (every other weekend)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high quality patient care in a fast paced CVU setting
Titrate and manage IV drips including amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, and cardizem
Interpret telemetry and monitor patient vitals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including hospitalists, intensivists, and RTs
Assist with respiratory support using BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula
Read and respond to tele/monitor tech strips
Participate in unit orientation and ongoing education
Float to same level and lower acuity units as needed

Qualifications

Registered Nurse license in the state of Nebraska
BLS and ACLS certifications
NIHSS certification
Minimum 1 year experience with CVU or intermediate care patients
Ability to titrate IV medications
Strong communication and teamwork skills
