Location: Omaha, Nebraska

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every third holiday, rotating shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU setting
Titrate drips and manage complex cardiac and nephrology cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive patient care
Participate in unit-specific orientation and ongoing education

Qualifications

Current RN licensure
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience working in a PCU or similar setting
Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and management
Drip titration and medication management
Patient assessment and care planning
Communication and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving
