Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids start at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each procedure
Assist surgeons during a wide range of cases including CVOR, total joints, general, vascular, and spine surgeries
Maintain sterile technique and support the surgical team throughout every operation
Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor and OR leadership to deliver safe, high-quality care
Respond to on-call needs and provide coverage for weekends and holidays as scheduled

Qualifications

Current Surgical Tech certification or license as required by California
Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR system
Ability to work 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, pacers, and lead extractions
Solid understanding of ortho, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma cases
Familiarity with Phillips telemetry and ventilator management
Strong sterile technique and attention to detail in the operating room
