Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, and ortho
Float throughout Zone 4 facilities within a 60-mile radius to support staffing needs and patient care
Monitor and manage patients on heparin drips and other medications as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
Adapt quickly to different units ranging from general MS-Tele to ICU holds, PCU, and ED observation
Support patients through post-surgical recovery, detox, and long-term placement needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Neuro experience preferred
Alaris and EPIC experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to various patient acuities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical care
Comfortable floating between multiple units and specialties
Experience with tele monitoring and reading strips
Ability to manage heparin drips and other medications
Flexible and reliable with scheduling and floating requirements
