Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to neuro patients including those with CVA, TBI, and spinal surgery
Monitor and interpret EKGs while safely titrating critical drips like Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
Collaborate with the care team during bedside report to ensure seamless patient handoffs
Float to tele units and ICU overflow as needed to support hospital-wide patient care
Maintain sterile technique during procedures and pass skills validation with confidence

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Neuro experience highly valued
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts

Knowledge & Skills

EKG interpretation and central monitoring
Titration of Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin drips
Care for trached patients, brain tumor cases, and encephalopathy
Cerner EMR documentation and WOWs usage
Strong sterile field technique for Foley and central line procedures
