Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate drips including Cardizem and beta-blockers
Provide specialized care for adults and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes diagnoses
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and respond to changing patient conditions
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to deliver safe, high-quality care
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and not be currently employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and drip titration expertise
EEG monitoring experience
Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
Ability to problem-solve quickly in high-acuity situations
Positive attitude and collaborative team approach
