Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult patients on a busy Progressive Care Unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms while managing titratable drips such as Heparin and Insulin
Collaborate with a supportive team to handle frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges
Float to Med/Surg, ICU, or ED when your skills match patient needs
Partner with nurse aides and unit support staff to deliver seamless patient experiences

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Minimum one year of recent PCU or step-down experience preferred
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of Omaha and not be employed by CommonSpirit facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Safe titration of Heparin, Insulin, and other IV medications
Comfort with rapid admissions, transfers, and discharges
Ability to float to multiple units including ICU and ED
Team-first attitude and positive communication
