Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-scheduling with 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care for ED holds waiting for placement on med/surg/tele units
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while managing titratable drips like Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
Collaborate with physicians to safely adjust cardiac medications based on patient parameters
Support the care team by floating to med/surg/tele and overflow units as needed across campuses
Assist with ED patient needs including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration when requested

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong cardiac telemetry background with ability to read and interpret strips
Experience with titrating cardiac drips preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam and SIM lab orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Safe titration of cardiac medications
Patient assessment and monitoring for med/surg/tele patients
Strong communication and teamwork across multiple units
