Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac and telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac strips while managing PCU-level patients
Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix
Collaborate with the care team during cardiac caths, EP studies, and pacemaker procedures
Support patients with COVID, pneumonia, sepsis, and acute on chronic conditions
Float to PCU, med-surg, and ER holds as a helping hand when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PCU experience with the ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Telemetry and cardiac nursing experience preferred
Epic experience is a plus but not required
Open to first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Drip titration for cardiac medications
Patient assessment for cardiac cath recovery and EP studies
BiPAP, trach, and Airvo equipment management
Strong communication and teamwork across multiple units
