Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound exams
Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision
Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation using Fuji EPIC systems
Ensure patient comfort and safety during every scan

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OB/GYN)
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound
Procedure experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Philips ultrasound equipment
Comfortable performing 8-10+ scans daily
Familiar with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS
Excellent communication and patient care skills
