Shift Type: Block scheduling with flexibility, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess mobility and functional needs
Facilitate early mobilization programs for acute care patients
Determine safe discharge plans and coordinate rehabilitation transfers when needed
Provide individualized occupational therapy interventions across medical, surgical, and orthopedic populations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in ICU, IMC, and acute inpatient settings
Support patients recovering from strokes, neuropathy, and general weakness

Qualifications

Current Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to work independently with diverse patient populations
Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills

Knowledge & Skills

Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment planning
Early mobilization techniques
Acute inpatient care across medical, surgical, and orthopedic diagnoses
ICU patient management including stroke and neuropathy recovery
Discharge planning and safety assessment
