Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple medical-surgical and telemetry units
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patient needs and fill scheduling gaps
Monitor cardiac and neurological patients while managing heparin drips
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent outcomes
Adapt quickly to various specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, renal, bariatrics, ortho, trauma, and ED observation
Maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to different facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across telemetry and medical-surgical patients
Experience with cardiac monitoring and heparin titration
Flexibility to work various units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfort with floating and adapting to new environments quickly
