Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 05-26-2026

End Date: 08-25-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Mostly Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional one day a week 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, one weekend every third weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in acute inpatient settings
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs

Qualifications

Current CA PT license
BLS certification
Acute Inpatient PT experience required
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy principles

Education

Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Acute Inpatient PT
General Medical/Deconditioned patients
TKA, THA, Spinal surgery, General ortho patients, CVA
Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER settings
