Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days vary (including weekdays and weekends); Rotating 12.5-hour shifts, typical examples 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Document care clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
Participate in unit safety and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire or compact state privileges
Prior Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred or obtainable
Ability to work 12.5-hour per diem shifts, including weekends when scheduled
Demonstrated clinical judgment, strong communication, and teamwork
Immunizations and health screening as required by facility policy

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid assessment skills for adult medical-surgical patients
Proficiency with medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Strong patient and family education skills
Collaborative approach to interdisciplinary care
