Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize lifesaving care
• Provide expert emergency nursing care including interventions, medications, and monitoring
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and the care team to deliver seamless patient care
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient education clearly and promptly
• Support rapid decision-making in high-acuity situations with calm and confidence
• Participate in orientation and unit-based training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New Hampshire or eligibility for NH licensure
• Prior Emergency Department/ED experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with strong critical thinking skills
• Able to pass required background checks, health screenings, and onboarding requirements
• Willingness to attend facility orientation as provided

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency assessment skills with attention to rapid priorities
• IV therapy, medication administration, and basic emergency procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple patients and tasks in a dynamic ED setting
