Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care and personal assistance
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility)
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility following facility protocols
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe patient environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification or state registry listing (ensure compliance with PA requirements)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire if required)
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care and follow care plans
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
• Reliable attendance and ability to complete an 8-hour shift as scheduled

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Infection control and safe handling procedures
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Effective interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
