Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on a Med/Surg unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Respond promptly to patient needs and contribute to a safe, healing environment

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire or compact RN license as applicable
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred or obtainable
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and communicate clearly
• Reliable, compassionate, and committed to excellent patient care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing practices and standards
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
• IV therapy, medication administration, and basic wound care skills
• Strong prioritization, time management, and critical thinking
• Effective patient and family education skills
• Ability to follow policies, protocols, and infection control practices
