Location: Lancaster, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 7-hour shifts; schedule varies; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents with dignity and respect
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor and document resident condition, vital signs, and changes in status
- Collaborate with the care team to create and follow individualized care plans
- Educate residents and families about care plans and any changes to treatment
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the resident record
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain quickly)
- Comfort with medication administration, wound care basics, and routine assessments
- Professional communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred but caring attitude and strong fundamentals are welcome
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Basic wound care and infection control procedures
- Vital signs assessment and routine nursing assessments
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting (EHR)
- Strong interpersonal skills for resident and family communication
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
