Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, direct patient care and support activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and record vitals and report any changes to the care team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support care plans

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state certification required)
Willingness and ability to work 8-hour shifts as scheduled
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
Able to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care and safety practices
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Effective communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
Time management and reliable attendance
Basic familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
