Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, schedule to be determined (exact start/end times and days will be provided by the facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents including assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team promptly
Support patient comfort and safety through attentive observation and timely intervention
Assist with mobility, transfers, and proper use of assistive devices to reduce fall risk
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care
Accurately document care provided and communicate clearly during shift handoffs

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — must meet Pennsylvania state requirements
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a patient, respectful bedside manner
Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and infection control practices
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs and intake/output
Familiarity with patient safety protocols and fall prevention
Good documentation skills and adherence to HIPAA and facility policies
Teamwork mindset and ability to follow direction from licensed nursing staff
