Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on direct patient care to support recovery and comfort
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient status and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated acute care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control and facility policies
• Support patient transitions within the facility by communicating clearly during handoffs
• Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and patient advocacy in every interaction

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Experience or interest in acute care settings (preferred)
• Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a care team
• Comfort with physically assisting patients and performing bedside duties

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic patient care procedures and vital sign monitoring
• Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety principles
• Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
• Good time management and the capability to prioritize in a busy clinical setting
• Patient-centered attitude and strong interpersonal skills
