Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures accurately and efficiently to support excellent patient care
• Operate imaging equipment safely and follow radiation safety protocols
• Prepare patients for exams with compassion and clear communication
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the electronic system
• Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and clinical staff to ensure timely imaging results
• Adhere to infection control and facility policies to protect patients and staff
• Assist with equipment maintenance checks and report any issues promptly

Qualifications

• Certified or registered Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) or equivalent credential
• State licensure for radiologic technologists where required
• Comfortable performing a variety of diagnostic imaging exams
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
• Ability to work independently on per diem shifts and adapt to site-specific workflows
• Basic life support (BLS) or equivalent certification preferred or as required by facility

Education

• Associate degree or diploma in Radiologic Technology or related field (or equivalent clinical training)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with radiographic imaging equipment and safety practices
• Familiarity with DICOM imaging standards and PACS systems
• Good patient positioning and image quality techniques
• Attention to detail for accurate imaging and documentation
• Ability to follow protocols and take direction from radiologists
• Professional bedside manner and clear communication skills
