Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department
Quickly triage and assess patients to prioritize care and improve outcomes
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
Respond rapidly to emergencies and collaborate in life-saving interventions
Document patient care clearly and promptly in the medical record
Communicate effectively with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Contribute to a positive, team-centered environment that supports patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (Hawaii RN license or compact licensure preferred)
BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
Previous Emergency Department experience preferred
Strong critical thinking, triage, and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency assessment skills
IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency procedures
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Clear clinical documentation and electronic charting experience
Collaborative approach with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
