Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct resident care and support daily living activities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Document care activities clearly and timely in the resident chart
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
Participate in care planning and team huddles to improve outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and working as part of a team
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong resident-care and ADL assistance skills
Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Teamwork, time management, and situational awareness
Familiarity with electronic charting or readiness to learn
