Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients and families
• Assess patient status and develop/implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient information clearly and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on condition management and discharge instructions
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and other specialty certifications preferred
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in medication administration and basic IV therapy
• Patient assessment and care planning skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload during busy shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family education
