Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adult ICU patients
• Assess and monitor patients using advanced hemodynamic and ventilator parameters
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and perform complex nursing interventions safely
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EHR
• Educate patients and families with compassion and clear explanations during stressful moments
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to enhance outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state requirements apply)
• Recent ICU experience preferred; comfort with ventilators and advanced monitoring
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) highly recommended
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and crisis management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented critical care environment

Education

• Nursing diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Focused knowledge of critical care nursing practices and ICU protocols
• Experience with ventilator management and arterial/central line monitoring
• Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork to coordinate complex patient care
• Ability to triage, prioritize, and respond calmly in high-acuity situations
