Location: Smethport, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 8-hour shift (schedule to be confirmed with facility; specific days and start/end times not provided)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on basic care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and follow infection control protocols
- Document resident care and observations clearly and promptly
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver consistent, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification required
- Demonstrated experience providing direct resident care preferred
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health/immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Basic documentation skills and comfort with electronic or paper charting
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient bathing, grooming, feeding and toileting assistance
- Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
- Safe transfer and ambulation techniques
- Infection prevention and standard precautions
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
- Time management and basic clinical documentation
