Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents/patients—assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility to maintain dignity and comfort
Maintain clean, safe environments and follow infection prevention protocols
Document care provided in charts or electronic records in a timely manner
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Prior hands-on patient care experience preferred but new CNAs are welcome
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required facility onboarding

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
State-approved CNA training program completion and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with personal care tasks and resident/patient interactions
Ability to take accurate vital signs and recognize changes
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic charting/documentation skills and attention to detail
Reliable time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
