Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents—assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and document patient conditions and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to maintain independence
Support mealtime assistance and help with feeding when needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (required) — must meet Pennsylvania state requirements
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Able to pass background check and required health screenings (TB test, immunizations)
Comfortable with hands-on resident care and safe patient handling
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but dedicated new grads are welcome to apply

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
Ability to take vitals and observe/report clinical changes accurately
Familiarity with documentation standards and electronic charting a plus
Compassionate bedside manner with strong interpersonal skills
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs during shifts
