Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Department, assessing and stabilizing patients rapidly
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Administer medications, perform procedures and document care accurately and timely
• Monitor patients’ status and respond to changes with sound clinical judgment
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions with empathy and clarity
• Participate in orientation and training to maintain competency and support a smooth team transition

Qualifications

• Current RN license (eligible to practice in New Hampshire) — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS preferred or supported
• Previous Emergency Department (ED/ER) experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, triage and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred or equivalent clinical experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency patient assessment
• IV therapy, medication administration and emergency procedures
• Ability to prioritize multiple patients and tasks efficiently
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting
• Familiarity with ED workflows, protocols and triage systems
• Compassionate patient and family education under stress
