Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
• Perform routine assessments and report changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow care plans
• Maintain clear and professional patient records and communication
• Support resident dignity and independence through respectful care
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current LPN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Pennsylvania
• Active basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

• LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Comfortable with patient assessments, charting, and reporting
• Infection control best practices and safe patient handling
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
• Professional, compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation
