Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, activities of daily living, and observation reporting
Communicate changes in patient condition promptly and clearly to the care team
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and patients
Support restorative care plans and encourage patient independence whenever possible
Document care activities accurately in charts and care records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

Active/state-valid CNA certification (required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or able to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completed state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient hygiene
Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
Basic charting and documentation skills
Good observational skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
Team-oriented mindset and strong communication with patients and families
