Location: Columbus, GA

Start Date: 04-03-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with the hiring team)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients while following facility protocols
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the patient record
Monitor patient condition and report changes to RN or provider promptly
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centered care
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions
Maintain accurate, timely charting and uphold patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

Valid LPN license (practical nurse) — ability to practice in Georgia preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Prior experience as an LPN in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus
Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program (diploma or certificate)
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic wound care, IV site observation, and vital sign monitoring
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
Infection control procedures and patient safety standards
Time management and organization in a fast-paced clinical environment
