Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; specific start and end times and assigned days to be confirmed (position start date: 2026-04-03)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, ensuring dignity and comfort
Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming and mobility assistance
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and fall prevention with attention to proper techniques
Document patient observations and care provided in a timely manner
Work collaboratively with the care team to create a positive, patient-centered environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfort with basic patient care tasks and safe transfer techniques
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Skill in taking vital signs and documenting observations
Familiarity with patient mobility and safe transfer methods
Ability to follow care plans and communicate changes to the nurse
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
