Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team promptly
• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, mobility) while promoting dignity
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to support care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in patient records and communicate effectively with families
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for everyone

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania LPN license in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum clinical experience preferred (per facility policy); confident in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Ability to pass background checks and meet immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Must be able to perform duties required for an 8-hour clinical shift

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program or equivalent vocational/technical training

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
• Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and care planning
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and standard clinical tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills for resident and family communication
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
