Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts 1-2 times per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-operative and post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Monitor patients recovering from conscious sedation and general anesthesia with precision and compassion
Collaborate with IR techs and physicians during body interventional procedures including chemoembolization, Y-90 treatments, and vascular access
Support critical care and telemetry patients throughout their procedural journey
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR while ensuring seamless patient handoffs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Level I trauma experience required
Pre-op, PACU, or ICU background with IR experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills for pre and post procedural patients
Comfort managing vents and telemetry monitoring
Experience with body IR procedures and conscious sedation recovery
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Cerner EMR proficiency a plus
