Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and scrub support across multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, GYN, and robotics
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to support patient care
Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues to strengthen the entire OR team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in neurosurgery and all major surgical service lines
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90 percent or higher
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record
Comfortable working in a 7-OR, 2-endo suite environment
Experience with DaVinci robotics and a wide range of adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric cases
Flexible mindset to adapt to a varied daily surgical schedule
Strong teamwork and willingness to educate others
