End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff, block scheduling available

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Independently attend deliveries and circulate in C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring their safety and comfort
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support high-risk patients
Collaborate with a 24/7 in-house OB team and anesthesia providers for seamless patient care
Support families through high-risk situations including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments)
Comfortable working independently in labor, delivery, and circulating C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP clinical skills with ability to manage high-risk pregnancies
Experience with AWHONN staffing guidelines and 1:2 L&D ratios
Competency in titrating Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
Ability to transition newborns and attend low-risk deliveries
Familiarity with Centricity perinatal EFM system
Excellent communication and adaptability to unit workflows
