Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekend call, and rotating holiday on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac imaging, SPECT studies, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying exams
Operate GE imaging equipment with precision and attention to detail
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care
Maintain accurate documentation using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Float to Mercy Downtown location when needed to support patient care across the system

Qualifications

Active CA NMTL license required
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Strong attention to detail and patient care focus

Knowledge & Skills

Nuclear Medicine procedures and protocols
SPECT and cardiac imaging expertise
GE imaging equipment operation
Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Patient safety and radiation protection standards
