Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with evening, weekend, and holiday call required; 30-minute call response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic 4-suite OR with GI endoscopy
Assist with a variety of cases including robotic procedures, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, hernias, appendectomies, basic ortho, gyn, and podiatry
Collaborate with skilled OR techs and first assistants to ensure smooth case flow
Respond to call within 30 minutes to support after-hours and weekend needs
Document accurately using Epic EMR and maintain compliance with unit protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
Current BLS certification required
Robot and GI experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Epic electronic medical records
Comfortable with robotic and laparoscopic procedures
Knowledge of GI endoscopy workflows
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Flexible and reliable with call coverage
