Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with rotating weeknight and weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties
Assist with robotic procedures using the DaVinci Xi system
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses as needed to support patient care
Maintain readiness for trauma cases while on call
Deliver compassionate care during general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and GI procedures

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS certification
Minimum 2-3 years of operating room experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Proficiency with robotics Xi procedures
Comfortable with a wide range of surgical cases including general, ortho, and GYN

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of surgical information systems (SIS)
Ability to adapt quickly to new EMR platforms
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to handle varying daily case volumes
Commitment to maintaining high standards during on-call shifts
